Lesotho Overland 2 Nights / 3 Days
Day 1: All Meals-Own Cost!
After breakfast or pickup at Maseru Airport-Moshoehoe 1 Airport, we travel to Semonkong via Roma, the home of National University of Lesotho where we will stop for view of the university.
Without wasting much time in this small city, we pass on and travel through the rugged roads of Lesotho while taking scenery photos along the way as we head to Semonkong, known as “A place of Smoke”. Semonkong is a home of Maletsunyane Falls, the highest single drop waterfall in the whole of Southern Africa at 204m.As soon as we get to Semonkong, we enjoy lunch at the lodge. After lunch, we start with a series of outdoor activities such as visiting the Maletsunyane Falls, a village, etc. Local entertainment can then be arranged such as a local choir.

Day 2: Breakfast.
After breakfast, the group will jump into the vehicle and start with their journey going to Mohale Dam (part of the Lesotho Highlands water project) where we will embark on some spectacular activities such as boating-if the boat is operational and dam tour. Mouth watering lunch will be ready as soon as we get to Mohale lodge before we start with a day filled with fun and adventure. Frequent stops en route to allow for photographs to be taken of this spectacular landscape and mountain passes.
Overnight at Mohale lodge.
Day 3: Breakfast.
We depart for Maseru/Airport or Maseru Hotel-where the tour ends.

General Information - Lesotho Overland Tours
Every guest on tour is entering a rural and unspoiled African terrain. Therefore it is necessary to travel with a flexible and tolerant mind.
Accommodations, bathroom facilities and meals are at most places very basic, simple and rustic.
Most lunch stops base on packed lunches or picnic meals.
There are no toilet facilities on route or very seldom.
We reserve the right to alter any routes or itineraries should circumstances, like weather, road conditions, unforeseen obstacles, etc. so demand.
Some accommodations use generators for the supply of electricity, which switches off at 22:00, and gas geysers for hot water supply.
Please note Katse Dam Lodge has 8x doubles, 6x singles + flats that can accommodate 12 people, two share bathroom e.g room 1 & 2 share bathroom etc.
