Lesotho Overland – 2 Nights / 3 Days
Day 1: Maseru – Roma – Semonkong
All Meals – Own Cost
After breakfast, we get into our vehicle and head toward Roma, home of the National University of Lesotho, where we will stop to enjoy views of the university, do some bird watching, and take photographs. Without spending too much time in this small town, we continue along the rugged roads of Lesotho, stopping along the way for scenic photos as we make our way to Semonkong, known as “The Place of Smoke.”
Semonkong is home to the magnificent Maletsunyane Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in Southern Africa at 204 meters. We expect to arrive in Semonkong in the mid-afternoon, where the group can enjoy a relaxed afternoon after the long road trip. Local entertainment, such as a choir performance, can be arranged.

Day 2: Semonkong – Abseiling Training and Village Activities
Breakfast Included
After breakfast, the group will hike to smaller cliffs for abseiling training in preparation for the next day’s adventure. Later, we will embark on a variety of outdoor activities, such as a village tour, followed by a relaxed afternoon at the lodge.
