Day1: All Meals-Own Cost!
After breakfast, we depart Maseru via Mafeteng and head to Quthing via Mohale’s Hoek where we will make a stopover to visit the famous Motlejoa Caves, then road will then continue along the Mt Moorosi road to Quthing, overlooking magnificent sandstone gorges. We will make a stopover and visit the dinosaur footprints and Ellenberger’s cave house.
We then continue to Qacha’s Nek where we will have a relaxed evening and dinner before we continue we our journey to the mighty Overnight at Quthing Lodge.
Day 2: Breakfast.
In the morning after breakfast, we get in the vehicle and go through the mountain passes of Lesotho highlands heading to Sehlabathebe National Park, one of the designated national parks in Lesotho. It comprises 6500 hectares at an average elevation of 2400m.
The park is both important and extremely interesting to those whose special interests are bird watching or alpine flora. There are some hardy mountain buck to be seen, as well as small mammals, a wealth of birdlife, and a diverse Cape alpine flora. On arrival at Sehlaba-thebe, we will have a tour around the park and embark on activities such as hiking, pony trekking, etc.
After a long day of adventure and fun, we shall settle in one of the local hotels for dinner .
Overnight at Letloepe Lodge.
Day 3: Breakfast.
Depart after breakfast for Quachas Nek border post and exit Lesotho into the Eastern Cape via Matateliel and travel down to Durban.
Arrival Durban late afternoon,for flight out!

General Information - Lesotho Overland Tours
Every guest on tour is entering a rural and unspoiled African terrain. Therefore it is necessary to travel with a flexible and tolerant mind.
Accommodations, bathroom facilities and meals are at most places very basic, simple and rustic.
Most lunch stops base on packed lunches or picnic meals.
There are no toilet facilities on route or very seldom.
We reserve the right to alter any routes or itineraries should circumstances, like weather, road conditions, unforeseen obstacles, etc. so demand.
Some accommodations use generators for the supply of electricity, which switches off at 22:00, and gas geysers for hot water supply.
Please note Katse Dam Lodge has 8x doubles, 6x singles + flats that can accommodate 12 people, two share bathroom e.g room 1 & 2 share bathroom etc.
