Mighty Maletsunyane Tour

Day 1: Arrival-Maseru-Roma-Semonkong-Village Tour

After breakfast or depart from Maseru airport, we depart towards Roma, the home of the National University of Lesotho where we will stop for a view of the university, bird watching, and a series of photographs. Without wasting much time in this small city, we pass on and travel through the rugged roads of Lesotho while taking scenery photos along the way as we head to Semonkong, known as “A place of Smoke”.

Semonkong is the home of Maletsunyane Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in the whole of Southern Africa at 204m. We are going to arrive at Semonkong in the mid-afternoon, for lunch where you can have a relaxed afternoon after a long road trip or go for a Donkey ride and view Semonkong village and interact with the Basoth people and have a local Maluti beer, in a local tavern-Pub.

Day 2: Outdoor Activities-Maletsunyane Falls-Hiking & Trekking-4x4 Excursion

After breakfast, the group will embark on a variety of outdoor activities. There is a wide range of options to choose from:

A tour to see the mighty Maletsunyane Falls by either hiking or pony trekking.

A village/ town tour

4x4 excursion to the nearby gorges and small waterfalls

After lunch, we got on the vehicle and hit the road to Maseru overnight.
