Lesotho Overland 1 Night/ 2 Days
Day 1: All Meals-Own Cost!
After breakfast, we will take a 45-minute drive to Morija Museum (where cultural items, historical artifacts, and archives are kept) via Matsieng, where the royal family originates. The group will then take a 15-minute drive to Morija, a historic destination where cultural items, historical artifacts, and archives are kept. Morija has the oldest church in the country...
The tour will continue to Malealea (a pony trekking center in Lesotho). On arrival at Malealea, the group will embark on the day village activities such as visiting the local school and taking a tour through the village where they will interact with the local villagers.
The famous traditional Sangoma (traditional healer/herbalist) will also be visited for consultation. Basotho ponies will be on standby for those who want to explore the nearby waterfalls on a horse ride. The local band can also be arranged for evening entertainment while dinner is being served.
Overnight at Malealea Lodge.
Day 2: Breakfast.
Depart after breakfast and do a 3-hour hike to view San Rock Art Paintings. Lunch at the Lodge and depart for Maseru airport!

General Information - Lesotho Overland Tours
Every guest on tour is entering a rural and unspoiled African terrain. Therefore it is necessary to travel with a flexible and tolerant mind.
Accommodations, bathroom facilities, and meals are in most places very basic, simple, and rustic.
Most lunch stops are based on packed lunches or picnic meals.
There are no toilet facilities on route or very seldom.
We reserve the right to alter any routes or itineraries should circumstances, like weather, road conditions, unforeseen obstacles, etc. so demand.
Some accommodations use generators for the supply of electricity, which switches off at 22:00, and gas geysers for the hot water supply.
Please note Katse Dam Lodge has 8x doubles, 6x singles + flats that can accommodate 12 people, two shared bathrooms e.g. rooms 1 & 2 share bathrooms, etc.
Please bring soft bags only for this trip.
