The group will be entertained by the local band over a relaxed evening next to the campfire while dinner is being served.

The place boasts the spectacular Maletsunyane Falls which thunder from a height of 206m and is one of the highest single-drop waterfalls in Africa. The journey will be explored through the rugged mountains of Lesotho with experienced guides.

On their arrival, the team will have a short walk into the village and a series of outdoor adventures. Basotho ponies will be on standby to take the group to Maletsunyane falls and trek along the rugged terrain. The group will have a chance to hike to the bottom of the waterfall where swimming and Trout fishing can be enjoyed. Trout will be served for dinner and overnight at the Semonkong lodge.

Day 4- Mohale via Ramabanta

After breakfast, we leave Semonkong and embark on an off-road experience in the Ramabanta valley and visit the Cultural Village. After this thrilling experience, then travel to Mohale Dam, (part of the Lesotho Highlands water project) where we will embark on some spectacular activities such as boating and dam tours.

Frequent stops en route allow for photographs to be taken of this spectacular landscape and mountain passes. Mouth-wetting lunch will then be served at Mohale Lodge before we tackle a road trip leading to Katse Dam. Relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight at Katse Lodge.

Day 5- Katse Dam

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge and take a scenic tour of the dam. The view of Katse Dam is incredible as the flooded valleys go on for 45km. Boating and a guided tour of the dam wall and Katse Botanical Garden will be arranged.

The afternoon will be used to tackle the tarred road going into Mokhotlong, the home of Thabana Ntlenyana, the highest point in southern Africa. Mokhotlong has been called the most remote town in Southern Africa. Enjoy the remoteness, highs, and lows of the rugged terrain as you traverse this mountainous landscape. A warm dinner will be served overnight at Mokhotlong Hotel.

Day 6- Sani Pass

Enjoy a hot breakfast at the Mokhotlong hotel, and then we pass on to Sani Top. Once at the top of the Sani Pass, we enjoy lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa – The Sani Top Chalet- 2874 meters, above sea level. After lunch, the tour continues into a living Basotho village, where our experienced mountain guide will interest you in Lesotho and its people – the hardy mountainous Basotho folk.
